I keep hearing the buzz-word sustainable packaging, what is this and do you use it?Sustainable packaging is a material choice that it is safe and healthy for people and the environment throughout it’s life cycle. Our bottles are 100% recyclable and are made from recycled plastics ranging from 25% to 100% post consumer content. The labels are printed using water based inks on recycled paper. |
How do I recycle my used plastic bottles? Not only are our bottles made from recycled material, but they are also recyclable. We use #1 PETE plastic as well as #2 HDPE. Most communities offer curbside pickup for plastic recyclables or you may call your local recycling center or your county pubic works. |

What is the Technology Behind GET?
What is nano technology?Simple, doing more with less: Our patent pending manufacturing process and materials, generally 5 nanometers in diameter, are compared to competitor’s micron size (see below) and generates 1,000 times increase in surface area and millions of time increase in the number of particles. The reason Green Earth Technologies’ products perform so well and are able to be sold at a competitive price is due in part to the precious chemicals added into the product that are performance packed. If you are interested in learning more about nanotechnology, check out our HOW WE DO IT! |
What is dehydrogenation? Our pending patent is for conversion of saturated fats from plant or animal origins into high value unsaturated oil like materials that lead to greater utilization of the supply of oils and fats for consumer products without loss of necessary lubrication. |

More Technical Questions?
If G-Oil is biodegradeable, will it biodegrade while it is in my car?GET's proprietary process produces saturated chain of carbon mainly in the 16 to 20 carbon lengths that mimic crude oil distillates in structure. Biodegradability is defined by an ASTM specification that puts the material for 28 days in contact with environmentally present bacteria and measures the proportion that is broken down back into elemental form. The conditions of the engine and the environment are vastly different. So, no, it doesn't biodegrade in the engine. We have engine tests now that show that G-Oil meets or exceeds the performance of ASTM reference oils in these conditions and have an ongoing program to continue to obtain additional test data. |
Why Does Green Earth’s G-Oil Perform Better than Other Oils?G-Oil is not just equal to petroleum and synthetic oil, it is the best overall performer in four critical tests. Viscosity Index, Flash Point, Pour Point and Sulfated Ash are industry standard ASTM tests. Only Viscosity and Ash are required tests. The Flash and Pour points are important but not required. Green Earth's breakthrough proprietary process for utilization of base Bio-material, results in an oil that is the first to be stable enough not to react with additives used to obtain operating parameters required for the API TC rating. With American grown base ingredients that are Ultimate Biodegradable you can help reduce the USA's dependence on foreign oil imports and keep our earth clean and safe for generations to come.
