As promised last month, I intend to send out a monthly CEO letter on Green Earth Technologies (GET). I want to thank you again for your kind support and suggestions. The driving passion we maintain, as we strive to achieve our goals, is quite remarkable and FOCUS is the “key” as we deliver our message and innovative products to such a large market/audience.
In an attempt to share with you all of the progress GET is making, we continue to inform the market through our press releases as soon as we get the information. However, I can summarize most of them into the following: Partnerships, Capacity, Delivery / Execution / People, Innovation, and Markets.
We continue to develop “deeper” relationships with a number of customers and distributors, including TTI International (Ryobi, Homelite, Milwaukee, Husky, Rigid, Hoover & Dirt Devil), who is fast becoming one of our strategic partners with global reach to a vast number of retailers throughout the world while providing the “best in class” customer service, product support, and delivery management.
Over the last six months we have made major strides in building an infrastructure to support our performance and appearance businesses. On the performance product side, we have improved our capacity to meet the anticipated demand for our G-OIL by securing a co-packer, warehousing and fulfillment relationship with Olympic Oil, one of the nation’s largest oil co-packers based in Chicago. This facility will supplement our current capacity in Detroit, MI and Guyman, OK.
In addition to this, we have obtained and finalized a distribution and co-packing agreement with New Zealand based Nano1, who currently satisfies multiple retailers throughout a variety of “Pacific Rim” countries, including New Zealand and Australia.
On delivery and execution we have expanded our team to include Ron Shaffer, Vice President of Global Supply Chain/Logistics, and Chris Conley, who has joined the finance team as Senior Controller. Ron is a world renowned global logistics and service support expert who will be assisting Ron Lipson, GET Manufacturing President, with our customers and maintaining Six Sigma. Chris, who comes from Bear Naked, a nationwide retailer and manufacturer of natural and organic consumer products, will be supporting our CFO, Greg Adams.
In our GETG laboratory we are continuing to innovate, develop and test breakthrough products that can add to our product profile. This includes marine, construction, agriculture, aviation, and various international fleet applications, but G-OIL remains at the top of our list as the problem of world oil demand is confronting us all. We want to be the leader in solutions to satisfy the needs of this market.
Staying focused as we continue to grow and pursue large opportunities is our culture.
